What if I missed the Open House window but would still like to come see the school before enrolling my child?
If you are interested in exploring Small Wonders before enrolling your child, please choose the top right hand tab titled ‘Contact’ and fill out the form requesting a visit.
How do payments work?
Payments are determined on an hourly basis and paid at the start of the week. We do not require families to pay for a full month beforehand. We prefer families to have the flexibility to choose the amount of days they need for their child and to pay based on those days. Due to this, we do not offer monthly packages. Regardless of how many days you choose for your child, you will send payment through Venmo, on Sunday, after you receive confirmation upon registering.
Does my child have to be potty trained to join your school?
No, we do not require children to be potty trained to join. Just make sure to send your child with enough diapers and a change of clothing!
Do you provide snacks and/or Lunch?
Two snacks will be provided at SWA. One snack around 10am and another around 11:30am. Snacks include but are not limited to; fruit, mixed nuts, popcorn, hummus and veggies, peanut butter and apples etc... Upon registering you will have the opportunity to indicate any allergies for your child. If your child does have a specific diet, please provide your own food accordingly.
Lunch will not be provided during school hours. However, if you would like to provide a lunch, I will dedicate a lunch time for your child before the end of the school day.
When do I need to reserve a spot for my child, and it is guaranteed?
Reserve a spot for your child between Friday at 10AM and Sunday before 8PM. Due to our space, we can only take a maximum of 5 students per day. Spots are very limited and may run out quick. Some days, we may allow more students depending on the age of the students registered. After reserving, please await a confirmation text from SWA confirming your space, the address, and how to proceed with payment. If you are not one of the first five to reserve a spot, you will be added to our waitlist for the week. If there are any cancellations, you will be notified immediately (on a first come first serve basis).
How do you accept payment and when is payment due?
Payment is due on Sunday after you receive confirmation that your spot is reserved. At that moment, you would need to send payment in full, for all your registered days. Right now we are only accepting payment through Venmo. If things change, we will update our website.
Will I be required to sign a liability waiver?
Yes, upon arriving on your first day, SWA will provide you with a liability waiver that you must sign. You are only required to sign this one time and will remain on file for each of your future visits.
Will I receive the schedule and curriculum upon enrolling?
Yes, on your first day to Small Wonders, you will receive a small gift and included with that gift will be a book that includes the schedule and curriculum for the year at a glance.
What is the cancellation policy?
SWA understands that children do get sick or last minute circumstances do come up. In order to accommodate those on the waitlist, you will be 100% refunded if you are able to cancel up to 24 hours in advance.
Will you provide updates and photos of my child?
Yes, an update will be provided on a bi-weekly basis on your childs gross motor, social emotional learning, and academic development. However, I will send daily photos of the child in the school using photo stream. If there is an update that I would like to send that is more urgent however, the family will be notified on that day.
